GameCity is a bit like Batman. True story.
Don’t believe us? Look at the evidence…
After a self imposed exile in which we travelled far and wide, learning skills, honing our instincts and generally continuing the be the festival the games industry needs, but not the one it deserves, we’ve returned to Gotham City and Wayne Manor. To right all the wrongs.
Well…Gotham is a village pretty close to Nottingham. And Wollaton Hall was Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises. And we’re putting on an amazing festival, not beating up criminals. Close enough, right?
Linking up with friends overseas to announce brilliant new festival features, this is also your opportunity to help shape the festival into what you want it to be within our specially convened situation room.
We’ll be taking a look at some previously announced festival features in more detail and reveal LOADS of new surprises, all of which the audience can have an active role in helping to shape. Make no mistake – this is no empty invitation, we welcome, we need your input.
GameCity7 STEAM School Headteacher and Design Director of Lady Shotgun Games, Anna Marsh, will also be in attendance as to talk about the life of a new studio, unveil their new iOS project, Buddha Finger, and invite people to play for prizes.
