FULL DETAILS:

We’re welcoming back Graham Goring, videogame developer, stand up comedian and man of many slideshows, to deliver us an awesome set of nerd-based humour.

Graham’s been doing stand-up comedy for getting on for three years now with many hundreds of gigs under his belt. When he’s not doing his Edinburgh show about being a nerd and how videogames have informed his life, he tells rude and/or stupid one-liners.

“…the gags-per-minute rate is impressive…truly memorable lines…” Chortle

Greig Stewart will be going by his ‘Theremin Hero’ alter-ego and once again entertaining us with his phenomenal theremin playing skills. As well as performing some of videogaming’s greatest hits Greig will be demonstrating his ability to use the theremin as a gaming controller and letting us try for ourselves.

We’ll be on the receiving end of a rare live performance of Free Market Economy, a regular feature of Resonance FM’s Award-Winning radio show One Life Left.

It is created by Derek Williams of Electronic Counter Measure and chronicles his life selling video games from his market stall. It started as combination of ambient/downtempo experimental audio and monologue, much in the same way as produced by Chris Morris, but is now progressing into more upbeat areas and trying to cover as many musical styles as possible. Even Rap.

Here at GameCity we’re big fans of the oft-overlooked TV masterpiece Time Freeze so we’re really proud to be hosting the Time Freeze Fan Club‘s Annual Biannual Convention.

Join the president of the Time Freeze fan club, as she curates the annual biannual convention. Meet the actors from the original cult classic TV show. Debate the many cinematic concepts involving time travel and discover why Time Freeze was science fact. *Plus live footage from the original series*
